Yost Group Receives A Liquid-Microjunction Surface Sampling Probe (Flowprobe By Prosolia)

The Yost group has teamed up with Prosolia, Inc (Indianapolis, IN). Liquid-microjunction surface sampling probe (LMJ-SSP) is an emerging technique based on the continuous flow of solvent using an in situ micro-extraction device. Solvent moves through the probe drawing in the analytes in preparation for ionization using an electrospray ionization (ESI) source.

Yost Group Receives Thermo Scientific Q Exactive Hybrid Quadrupole-Orbitrap MS

The Yost group has expanded its high resolution targeted and untargeted metabolomics capabilities with the Thermo Q Exactive . The instrument includes a quadrupole for ion selection, a collision cell for MS/MS capabilities, and an orbitrap with resolution capabilities greater then 140,000 for m/z 200. The instrument is used in tandem with Dionex UHPLC for […]
